 Două zile pline de informații, prezentări digerabile, divertisment și puncte de vedere pertinente.

 Foarte inspirată alegerea gazdei pentru acest eveniment  :  Jeff Leach, actor și comediant.

 De obicei sunt sceptic în privința acestor evenimente, o dată din cauza speakerilor , cât și pentru că mă aștept la prezentări grele și obositoare.
 De data asta a fost altceva.

Ce ne-a placut ?

•  Ne-au plăcut prezentările dinamice și ușor de digerat. Toți au fost foarte bine pregătiți pe subiectele prezentate. 
•  Timpul alocat fiecărui prezentator a fost suficient, astfel încât să nu fie nevoie de pauze dese. (deși majoritatea și-au depășit limita de timp cu mult) 
•  Informația prezentată, deși publică, a avut destule "insight"-uri interesante și utile.  
•  Diversitatea subiectelor (e-commerce, e-payment, analytics, advertising, social media, brands, cross channel marketing, etc.) 

Ce nu ne-a placut ? 

•  Momentele cu dificultăți tehnice ( că așa e la Români) , dar care au fost umplute cu succes de un umor britanic adus în scenă de gazda evenimentului. 
•  Locația, respectiv spațiul de desfășurare mult prea mic în ziua 1 pentru numărul de participanți înscriși(și-au asumat un număr de 700 de înscrieri la eveniment).Fiecare a stat pe unde a putut, pe scaun, în picioare, pe scări, în brațele altora. ( asta denotă un succes al evenimentului sau o proastă organizare ?) 
•  Lipsa unei pauze de prânz.

 Partea politică își face simțită prezența la acest eveniment de digital.
 
 Însăși Președintele Traian Băsescu a fost prezent, pentru a discuta împreună cu fanii săi de pe Facebook despre rolul "Social Media" în Comunicarea Politică.

 Printre alte nume prezente la eveniment, menționăm Florin Grozea ( care și-a promovat cartea despre cum poți da lovitura în industria muzicală ), Horia Brenciu (cântăreț), Andreea Raicu ( prezentator TV), împreună cu alte nume prezente pe afiș la Categoria "Talk Show : Stars vs. Internet" printre care : Cabral Ibacka (blogger și prezentator TV), Marius Moga ( compozitor și cântăreț), ce au dezbătut subiectul  menționat mai sus alături de Serhad Bolukcu ( CEE Market Manager @ Facebook) și Dan Bulucea ( General Manager @ Google România).












 În conluzie :
 
 Ne-a plăcut, a fost foarte interesant, foarte multe subiecte și foarte clar prezentate și structurate, deci felicitări prezentatorilor.
 Poate la următorul eveniment, organizarea o să fie mult mai bună.

Printing - the final frontier

The history of printing began as an attempt to reduce the cost of reproducing multiple copies of documents, fabrics, wall paper, etc. Also printing was the hand of help for the process of communication, and had a great contribution to the development of commerce, law, religion and others.

More of it, the printing methods expand at a high rate, in line with the technology evolution. And come to think of it, it all started around 3000 BC, with the need of duplication of images. Around that time, in the early Mesopotamian civilization there were used round cylinder seals for rolling an impress onto clay tablets.
In China and Egypt, the use of small stamps for seals preceded the use of larger blocks, as in Europe and India the printing of cloth preceded the printing of paper or papyrus.


In these days the printing need goes further than just printing to paper or to mash printing. The technology of printing combined with 3D modeling turns out to be the latest achievement.

As we can see in the video below, NASA uses large 3D printers to print tools. Is it possible ?

Apparently the need of printing objects from 3D models expanded so far that we can have our own 3D printer in house.

Now for something more useful for an artist that works with his hands, introducing the pen that can draw in the air 3Doodler .

This unique tool allows the user to literally draw in the air. It uses the same materials as any 3D printer, ABS plastic or PLA which is a "bioplastic" made from corn, is biodegradable and has a lower melting point than ABS.

Pencil miniature art

Going under the nickname of Cerkahegyzo, the Hungarian artist creates amazing sculptures from pencils.
He uses tools such as needles, razor blades, polishing stones, files and all sorts of pencils. He was inspired by a man known as Dalton Ghetti, a 49 year old carpenter, who makes the tiniest sculptures.
